We arrived without a booking and welcomed warming.
From start to finish it was a fabulous experience at The Stables.
Francisco our waiter was exceptional.
We shared the muscles for starters accompanied with a portion of skinny fires...a delightful combination to give you the salty sea vibe.
Himself had veal, accompanied with sweet baby carrot and a beautiful gratin potatoes.
I chose the Tom Crean battered fish of the day accompanied with minted peas. A nice clean crisp batter.
We had a glass of New Zealand Savignon Blac to compliment the fish.
A delightful day and we will be back !

Very good experience here. All the dishes were done very well especially the gnocchi and lamb shoulder. Desserts were really good. Service was great. Everyone professional and friendly. Just a short walk if staying at the hotel and very much worth it if you don’t feel like leaving the hotel to eat.

The food was pretty good. I had the pork belly as a main, and it was nice and quite flavorful.

Aurelian looked after us exceptionally well, thanks Aurelian. He was attentive, quick and very polite. We had the burger and fish & chips along with the duck leg to start and the sticky toffee pudding. All was to a high standard but service stood out more than anything.

The food needs a tiny bit of up-tweaking here, but for me the staff were the usual 5⭐ Sheen Falls standard.
Lizzie, the supervisor knows all about great customer service and nothing is too much trouble for her and staff.
It's a lovely comfortable and fashionably appointed restaurant and worth checking out.
